Francis Lorentz – Partner, executive chairman
Francis Lorentz – Partner, executive chairman
Francis has over 35 years experience as a business manager in the IT, telecoms and internet sectors.
Francis is a founding partner of LD&A. He is also the Chairman of IDATE (European Institute for Media and Telecommunication).
Previously, Francis worked as:
- CEO of LaSer, a subsidiary of the Galeries Lafayette Group which specialises in supplying credit cards and customer relations management solutions (CRM), and Chairman of E-laser
- Advisor to the Minister of Finance on the internet and e-commerce
- Chairman and CEO of RATP (the Paris public transport network)
- Chairman and CEO of the Bull Group (information systems and services)
- Deputy CEO of the Lyonnaise des Eaux
- High-level civil servant of the Treasury
Francis holds a post graduate from HEC (top ranking French Business School) and is an ENA alumni (National School of Administration).
Marc Deschamps – Partner, CEO
Marc has 25 years experience as a manager in operations and mergers & acquisitions in the telecommunication and media sectors.
Marc is a founding partner of LD&A.
He is also an administrator of various companies in Europe and Canada.
Previously, Marc was :
- COO for Internet and Broadband at BT Group (UK) during the national launch of ADSL
- Co-founder and COO of Chello NV, European leader of broadband (listed on Nasdaq and Euronext, market capitalisation reached over £1bn in 2 years)
- European Director for Marketing and Distribution Media at Philips/Polygram (Philips Media)
Marc is British and Canadian. He holds a B Eng Polytechnic Montreal and is INSEAD MBA alumni.
Matthieu Rosset – Partner
Matthieu has over 10 years’ experience in financial evaluation and investment strategies. He began his career at Crédit Lyonnais Securities in 1997 and joined LD&A in 2005.
Matthieu holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Université Paris Dauphine.
Arnaud Limal – Partner
Arnaud has close to 30 years experience as an investment banker in the United States, in the United Kingdom and in France in various fields. He was until recently Head of Investment Banking activities of CA-CIB group with investment funds worlwide. A specialist of merger and acquisitions, he also managed transactions in capital markets (equity and debt).
Previoulsy, he was :
- Partner, Head of Corporate Finance at Grant Thornton SA
- Managing Director, co-Head of Global Financial Sponsors Group and member of the Management Board of CA-CIB Investment Banking
- General Manager, Schroder France, SA and Director of J. Henry Schroder Wagg & Co. Ltd
- Executive DIrector, Goldman Sachs & Co.
Arnaud is an ESCP graduate and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Christophe Morvan – Partner
Christophe is an investment banker with in-depth know-how of international transactions having sourced and executed transactions over the last twenty years. He has led the corporate finance of the Hinduja Group in India and Switzerland, he has been a Partner of the Arjil Bank in Spain and France, and he worked at Crédit Lyonnais in the Americas and in France.
Christophe has also assumed operational responsibility as COO of the European real estate business of GE Capital, board member of various European and Asian companies, and consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton.
Christophe is a French national, and holds a post-graduate from HEC and an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
Daniel Michel – Principal
Daniel has over 10 years experience conducting international corporate finance and M&A transactions at HSBC Investment Bank in London and at UBS in Paris. Previously, he was a project manager at EADS -Space Division- and a researcher at MIT – Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Supélec, the Imperial College London and an MBA from INSEAD.
Sandrine Vergnory-Mion – Principal
Sandrine Vergnory-Mion – Principal
Sandrine has 5 years experience managing IT projects (at ORACLE and IBM) and spent 5 years conducting European mergers & acquisitions for IBM. Sandrine joined LD&A in 2007.
Sandrine graduated from EDHEC and is an INSEAD MBA alumni.
Marie-Caroline Haméon – Associate
Marie-Caroline Haméon – Associate
Marie-Caroline has over 6 years of experience in financial valuation and corporate finance, having worked for Ernst & Young in Paris and New-York and for Croissance Partenaires in Paris. She joined LD&A in 2010.
Marie-Caroline holds a Master’s degrees in Finance from the University Paris Dauphine and a Master in corporate finance from INT Management.
Charles Bourgeois – Analyst
Charles has 2 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, having worked in Project Finance for Bank of Scotland, in M&A for Rothschild & Cie and in Leveraged Finance for Société Générale (London and New York).
Charles graduated from EM Lyon Business School and joined LD&A in 2010.
Ladislas Manset – Analyst
Ladislas joins with experience in debt capital markets for Société Générale and LBO transactions at Axa Private Equity. He joined LD&A in 2010.
Ladislas holds a Warwick Business School BSc (UK) and a corporate finance master degree from ESSEC.
Hadrien Kulik – Analyst
Hadrien got his solid experience in investment banking on the equity markets at Société Générale (New York). He also has knowledge of Internet services and Information Systems, having co-founded two companies in the sector: SIAJE and Dendreo.
Hadrien joined LD&A in 2011. He graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and holds a Master degree from Duke University (USA).
Benjamin Ducloux – General Secretary
Benjamin Ducloux – General Secretary
Benjamin has acquired a solid experience in economic and financial analysis, in France and Japan, notably at Dexia and Chaumet-LVMH. Benjamin participated in several M&A and fundraising projects in Telecom, Internet and Semiconductors at LD&A.
Benjamin graduated from ESSEC Business School.
Martine Hueber – Office Manager
Martine Hueber – Office Manager
Martine has over 20 years experience as an executive assistant in various international environments. She was also, for 5 years, in charge of purchases and sales administration for the computer subsidiary of CEGEDIM.
Martine joined LD&A in 2006, holds a Master in English from the Université de Lille and a degree in International Trade.
